Welcome! I've a roll of Lomo400 sitting on the desk that I just shot with my MX with motor winder. I've a number of film cameras that I use, but the MX remains my favorite. That Viewfinder!!!

Actually it's Central Pennsylvania. The ridge behind the cows is the last of the westward Appalachians. Just the other side of them, the Allegheny Mountains start.

Used to see them in action at night in Vietnam, sometimes. You couldn't see individual tracers; it looked like solid columns of fire.

Is it worth repairing broken ME Supers?

The ME Supers appear to be a rather fragile design. I had two of them, and neither lasted long. I listed them for parts. There are more robust designs out there. I've been using a Super Program(among other Pentax's) that I paid $36.00 for and have gone through several rolls of film with no problem.

Nice article. I still use my K7, it's my backup for my K-70. Never had any complaints with the quality of the photos when I was careful with my ISO.

If you mean without a tripod, then I've been using my K-70 with the motion on selected for years. I brace it steady with my arms/knees in a sitting or kneeling position, or brace up against a handy support of some sort, plus pay attention to breath control........works fine.

To give it it's full name, it's a Common Checkered Skipper. There are over 3000 types of skippers around, which can make identifying a particular one a bit difficult at times. The most numerous one around here is the Silver Spotted Skipper.
