I love changing exposure compensation and the abbility to do it directly from the third wheel seems to be very usefull .
I didn't quite understand the hiper program idea but it seems interesting to try it.

Interesting. What is the name of this function in camera menu. I use K500 and I don't find such a setting. There is "highlight correction" is it the same setting? :confused:

I rarely use long distance lenses and for me a K3 III + DA*16-50 will probably be enough for all round combo (expecting the crop crop mode will give the feeling of some extra zoom)

Does anyone have any idea when they will release this lens? I hope it will be released with the K3 III - but what will be the reality.

I am afraid of contact lenses and don't need them yet. My diopter is +1,75 but with time it will grow and buying a new camera body is a long term investment. So using glasses is acceptable option for me :)

Glasses are easy to clean with warm water and soft soap unlike the photo lenses so it is not a problem for me.:)

I never tried to look thru the viewfinder with glasses and didn't think it can be done but if it works for you than I'll try it too. Thanks for the advice:)

:) Very good description of the key points. But for me there is another question that probably will define my decision to buy KIII-3 or not to buy it. It is -Will I be able to use the viewfinder - because of the small range of diopter correction in + direction. :confused:

Even if it didn't resolve the problem for me it helped a lot. Now I only need to wait for a few seconds rater then turning of the camera.

This metal shell looks great as a separate work of art. it looks better than the finished camera for me. Or maybe I just like Metal. Anyway it will be far stronger then my old almost plastik K500 which survived 6 years of not very careful usage.

Unfortunately the problem remains, but the situation is better. Now the mirror stucks in upward position only for a two or three seconds and than returns alone. :confused:
And again - the problem doesn't appear in less than 280 - 300 mm zoom. :) very strange
today I've noticed that focusing produces more noise than other lenses and comes with a slight hit . (I don't know if I explain it well)
