I aimed at the point, that when, whatever design, the first element has a certain size, the entrance pupil can not be larger than that very size. I am well aware that with retrofocus ans special designs, the front element has to be bigger than the entrance pupil. I'd be interrested though in a design, if it exists, where the front lens is smaller thant the entrance pupil (not aiming ad super macro here, but at "normal shooting distances", a normal pupose lens

Okay people. you proved me wrong to some point, The Lines with for cant be used to judge how fast the lens can be, except for that it is faster than F4, otherwise the markings would need to start with a higher number like 5.6 (unlikely) or F8.
Given the looks, it is more a hefty of a lens than the other limited lenses and therfor can be faster, on the other hand the really fast lenses are more expected in the ★ lineup.

I think what we know for sure is:
The lens is faster than F4
And everything else was already in their press release:
It is a 21mm lens without aperture ring so basically useless on all film bodies without dial for apertures
The lens has no screwdrive AF (no AF at all on analog cameras)
It is wheather sealed
Comes in black and silver, aluminium finish
Lens hood is integrated
Availability to be announced in 2021

Two indications.
You can't break physics that's why a given front lens diameter translates to a maximum possible aperture, but with a focal length of 21mm, F/1 can theoretically be reached at 21mm lens diameter. So this helps nothing here, however, the depth of field scale starts with F/4 left and right the red middle line. Lines to the side are always stopped down results. This proves the lens is faster than F4 but not Faster than F2.3, otherwise this lines would start with F/2.8. Everything else is speculation but it is likely something around F/3 +- 0.3

Very nice insides. I got a Pentax myself with broken chain and ordered some stainless steel chains in compareable sizes. One day I will try this repair myself.

Thank you very much for your contribution! I linked this one to the broken Pentax 67 Repair (missing pictures), because the search still gives the other out more easily. I hope to see your 67 soon up and running again!

Asahi Photo in UK, has also spares for some cameras and is very friendly/helpful

I'd try those

To my eyes, there is a cover missing. I looked in my 645NII and this part is covered totally by a mate black cover, only exposig a very small clear circle to the film. I was not able to take pictures because of my bad light, but here seems to be something missing.

Well, we have to consider two things here.
The 75mm F4.5 lens is perfect, almost no distrotion, hell of a sharp lens, the only downside is the F4.5
The 75mm F2.8 AL is: smaller somehow, lighter, equally sharp (always consider age and sample variation) and is F2.8
It has a bit distortion though. When you know that the AL is going vor $1000 and more, then you can simply say, contrasted to the existing F4.5 version, this price is not justyfiable. The lens is good, but in the end of the day a lens is only a tool and most jobs can be done with much simpler lenses.

So I can not tell you it is bad, nor can I say it is an automatic legend. It simply is a good lens and there are less around then people looking for them. The rest ist the market

Dont ask me numbers but I feel our set is almost similar. In this group I am only missing the 400mm Star lens and the 600mm Star lens. So If you feel like singling the 6x7 with a certain lens, I might match up. Shoot me a message before then

K-mounts compatibility

All K-Mount lenses fit phyiscally all k-mount cameras. the differences are in the protocolls and availability of certain functions.
The Ricoh pin is the biggest thread because when you want to unmount it, it can cling to your camera. So double check and in case of the pin and quick test of the lens, tape it down... If you like the lens, you still can modify it
