#11 is my shot. It's the finale of the Oshkosh air show where they set off a massive explosion down the runway. Truly incredible in person.

Very sorry to hear about your 28-45mm, that is rough. Have you contacted Ricoh to see if it repairable?

I have the 80-160 FA and it is a great lens. However for portraits I want shallower DOF than you can get with F4.5.

I am also in the same boat. I just shot a couples portrait session and I found the 75mm to be good for full-body shots. I used the 200mm F4 for the closer shots but I was wishing for something in between that would work for both full-length and tighter shots without needing to switch lenses. The 3 you mentioned are on my list of options. Also on my list of considerations is the Pentax 67 105mm F2.4, and the Zeiss 110mm F2 at the higher end. Both of those lenses require adapters and will be manual focus only, but the wider apertures are exciting to me.

Thanks very much for posting these, they really show off the bokeh well and it still looks pretty damn sharp wide open. I'll have to keep my eye out for one.

How Is Image Quality On FA 75mm 2.8Lens

What would be different from the 645 FA 75mm 2.8 (which I already have)? To give up autofocus and size/weight, the 67 version would have to make up for it with something incredible.

I have the 75mm FA version. I haven't used it a huge amount but it is still a great lens to have in the bag. It's incredibly compact and light so it allows me to take the 645Z out in situations where I would normally grab my K-3. Being among the cheapest 645 lenses available makes it a no-brainer in my opinion.

Anyone tried the 105mm F2.4 on a 645Z? I'm intrigued by having such a bokeh monster in my arsenal but I'm skeptical that it is sharp enough for the Z.

I tried it in B&W and it looked fine, but I liked the orange color in the boat so I went with the color version.

I have only used the FA* 300mm F4 but it is one of my favorite 645 lenses. Just took this today, wide open at F4. Usually I stop it down, but for this shot I wanted shallow DOF.

It's not really a dumb thing but my recent Eureka moment came when I disabled autofocus on the shutter button and switched to only using the AF button on the back. It takes some getting used to, but separating the actions of focusing and taking the picture makes a huge difference.
