Sugarland with my DA 55-300mm WR. I might need a 70-200mm F2.8 Tamron so I can get the speed.

I agree with ChristianRock and take the 17-50mm. I looked at my photos from my Italy trip and most were very wide to normal. Actually, I took my K200D with my 12-24mm and my 18-250mm with my point and shoot. I used the Point and Shoot as much as anything because it was so much more accessible. Consider a Sony RX100 or something like it for convenience unless this is a photo trip.

Either way, have a great time.

Thank you so much for the nice comment. I thought prostate cancer was just for old men. Either I'm older than I feel or my assumption was wrong. :-)

Thank you my friend.

Yes, I had prostate cancer which was the scariest thing that has happened to me. Please everyone, male and female, get your exams every year. That's how they found my cancer early and as a stage 1. My wife found she had breast cancer 1 month after my team found my cancer. Knock on wood, we are both healthy now.

If you'll indulge me, I used the little KS2 with the DA* 50-135mm as a back up and it rocked as well. The DA* 50-135mm hasn't focus correctly for months and then all of a sudden it started working again.

A big part of photography is remembering the past through imagery. Photos are like time capsules for future generation to get to know who we are. We in the Northern Hemisphere are going into Summer and there will be car show, BBQs, family reunions, etc. In the Southern Hemisphere you are heading into Winter. I want to get to know you all and what Nostalgia means to you at this time of the year. topic - Nostalgia

3. Entries will close April 30, 2018 midnight EDT.

4. Maximum image dimensions are 1024x768 (ish) pixels.

5. List camera brand and model with entry for all to see, and exposure data would be nice.

6. No restrictions on when the entries were taken.

7. Contest winner determines the rules, selects theme, sets closing date and judges the next competition.
