Yesterday I went to the Judo club training camp during this vacation week to take a few shots of Justine and for the club in general. Here are a few with the FA 35/2 and in B&W ... the light indoors was not good at all and further complicated by a cloudy and rainy day outside.

This young girl really took the boy out several times ... she's quite good. (x-post from K-1 thread)

Yeah, thanks.

I have noticed this, too, on their sale timing ... they do have some good stuff from time to time.

There's a Lidl store about 2 km from my house.

On the 4th, I went to a swap about an hour + south of Poitiers (Aulnay Photo Club - http://www.phot-aulnay.com) and I picked up the following ...nothing special despite some high-price goodies that were available ...

So, for 11€ I got all the below. For 5€, the Fujica SLR (with sticky shutter button) attached to a really nice Adaptall-2 28-50 (07A) which was what I really bought it for ... for 2€, a like new set of Vivitar auto extension tubes that will support late MD lenses (needed this) ... for 2€, a film picker that I bought for a friend (it was in a 2€ junk box along with the tubes) and for 1€ each, a 49mm ND filter with case (needed) and a Canon FD to M42 adapter for fun ... works like a short extension tube.

Repair update: I fixed the slow blades on the M 120/2.8 and it works great now, so lucked out there.

They had the same sales here in Poitiers ... and I need to run a permanent electricity line down to the shed at the end of the garden (approx. 45 meters worth). Once done, I can jump on these type sales at Lidl.

I think that I wrote too quick in that end of the aperture lever looks altered and reduced ... it's really not that much, but it has been filed down or well cut. Nice and shiny metal to be seen on that tip ... and ugly.

I just compared this 120 to my M 100/2.8 and there's really not that much of a difference ... so, maybe it was only slightly "Canon-ized" to pass safely on an APS-C body. Or maybe I was just flat out wrong here ...

I tried the 120 on the K-1 and if the shutter is set below 1/2 second, there's enough time for the aperture to engage ... I mean that it's REALLY SLOOOOW. The 120 seems to stop down correctly if enough time is given ... also tried on a MX with the same end results. So, maybe I jumped to gun on this one upon its first inspection, but that's all the better for me ... Cheers.

These two separate purchases just arrived ... a M 120/2.8 and a second version SMC Tak 135/2.8 (6/6 - 8 blade) ... both excellent in optics and cosmetics.

The 135 came with the MFT/M42 adapter which I will resell (or give to a friend) and it was 116€ delivered which is "OK", because I really wanted one for my precious ES ...The 120 was bought for 38€ delivered with the knowledge that it had really slow blades, and that is usually an easy fix for me ... really like the feel of this one and a nice addition to the "M" collection.

This showed up at the city center site of my thrift store, a Kodak Retina Reflex IV with a 28/4 ... it's locked up and meter will not respond, but it was priced at 10. I hesitated for quite a while, because I really did not need yet another project. Then I went back during the French winter sales period, and it was marked off 20%. So, what the heck for 8 ... great feeling to it and the case is nice, too. May trade it away at Poitiers' camera swap in April or just keep it until some "repair time" is available.

Way, way behind in my postings here ... for my b-day to me gift, a used Sony NEX 5 from my local B&M shop, plus a FD-to-Nex adapter then later ordered ... here's what the Canon FL 55/1.2 looks like when attached and a few first test images ...

Thanks ... I lucked out on my acquisition of the 100/2.5 as it was the best part of a cheap camera kit bag purchase. I am also trying to find a reasonably priced 85, but that's kind of challenging to say the least ... and I missed a few months ago a MD 85 that went for 65€ at a Bordeaux B&M store (Panajou - Page accueil panajou ) ... it sold a day or two after its Internet listing on their store site and just hours before I called ... rats.

I picked up recently a really nice Minolta Dynax 5 and Sigma 18/3.5 AF super cheap at my thrift shop (4 for the SLR with a cheap Minolta zoom attached and 2 for the Sigma) ... so I threw in a roll of Kodak UltraMax 400 that was gifted to me to see if all works AOK.

All home developed in Ilfotech (1+29) for about 15 minutes ... a nicer roll of real B&W film will go next into this combo ... first three images are of Saint Pierre Cathedral and the last two are of Montierneuf Abbey ... both in Poitiers. (X-post from film thread)
