Love the shots and I agree....raise the exposure or levels add a little sharpening and you're golden.

A28 2.8mm Focus ring is really loose

Yesterday while shooting some pics with my Pentax A28 mm 2.8 lens the focus ring became completely loose. I mean I can twist with either way to the point like it's just spinning free with no friction what so ever. Do anyone know if this would be an expensive repair or should I just buy another one? They aren't that expensive to purchase.

If low light performance is a big issue then look for examples on here or even Flickr. You can usually check the EXIF data on most shots there. I've shot weddings with the Sigma 17-70 and Sigma 17-50 2.8 and i really like the 17-50 images but miss the longer reach..sometimes. For me having a quiet lens really makes a difference at weddings so from your choices the Pentax 16-85 may be the better choice. If you have to crank up the ISO just edit the noise out in post processing. I also use the Tamron 70-200 2.8 for most of the portraits I do at events and weddings. The sound of the screw drive isn't a factor there where the Sigma shines during the ceremony with it silent focusing.

Flash diffusers for Pentax AF 360 FGZ II

Lots of good information in this thread about diffusers. I've taken to using various tools for my lighting. I've incorporated a Rogue flashbender, a small collapsible strap-on softbox and bare bounced flash for most of my shooting with the AF 360II. I actually use this flash most of the time now when I don't have time to set up my off camera flash with my Yongnuo manual flashes. One thing you will learn about shooting with flashes is that you have to experiment with different flash head positions with whatever you use to diffuse your light. If possible get someone who can model for you so that you can learn your equipment. Shoot review and shoot again. Nothing substitutes for practice.

Hello everyone, hopefully someone can give a little help. I have one of these flashes but can't find a slip on or velcro strap diffuser to fit the flash. I've previously used Sto-fen diffusers with great success but couldn't find it on B&H or Adorama. Anyone have a link to one?
Thanks

Really wonderful performance from that lens. You have to print that one....maybe use one of the specialty papers. That one is worth hanging on a wall somewhere.

I also use a Tenba bag when I don't use my backpack. Different bags for different shoots. Weddings I always take the Case Logic but for weekend walk around I'll take the Tenba: Tenba Photo/Laptop Messenger Bag (Mini, Olive Green) 638-362 B&H . Actually when you look at it there are tons of good bags out there. How big is your wallet is the question :). I have 3 camera bags and they all serve a purpose.

Best sharp wide angle lens? (For wedding group shots)

I have the new Sigma 17-70C version and while I have used it in a few weddings I will almost always switch to my Pentax DA-15 for wide angle group shots later. The Sigma at 17mm just doesn't do it for me as the corners are very poor. Well I shouldn't say poor but definitely not the sharpest. You can get around that by stepping back a little and cropping in post which I've done.

As much as I like this lens I keep thinking the Tamron 17-50 2.8 might be a better option based on the reviews I've read.
