Most of it is legal, but the police have the general attitude of not wanting to deal with any issues they don't absolutely have to. So basically, unless you are causing some serious trouble, anything goes.

Yes, it is. Scooters are the primary transportation here. You will see them customized and used for racing, old and beaten up, ridden by young kids and old people, ridden solo and even with families of 5-6 hanging off of them, with boxes stacked 10ft high off the back or with a trailer attached, etc.

I didn't get too wet today. I was able to stay under some type of cover most times. However, I went out during the typhoon a week or so ago, and I (along with all my gear) was absolutely soaked. As it turns out, the weather sealing on the K-5 lives up to the hype.

Yeah, total coincidence. I saw her riding by, away from me, on one corner. After about 20 minutes of being there, I decided to start walking. I then stopped in a different area and started waiting for a shot. I thought "If someone could just walk up or down this road, it would be great". Then, to my surprise, here comes that same lady on here bike.

All great shots, they look to belong in a fitness magazine. My personal favorite is #3, though.

Great city. You should go to the top of the space needle. There is a coffee shop up there, so you can sit and watch over the city while enjoying some good coffee. If I remember correctly, it rotates, as well.

The first Fuji I ever owned was the original X100. Liked it overall. In the end, though, it wasn't the right fit for me. Oddly, the lower end X10 was much better for me. I absolutely loved that camera.

Go into your menu and make sure that you have the aperture ring option selected (the exact wording may be different for each camera). In mine, it's "Custom Functions" - "Using Aperture Ring" - then select "Permitted".

Hobby Diversification... what other fun things do you do to pass the time?

Up until January, I was a competitive powerlifter. I held a few records, traveled around the world to compete, etc. That actually worked out well for my photography because every time I went to a new place to compete, I would have my camera in hand. I like to do anything with my hands, be it woodworking, metal fabrication, etc. I have recently started learning to play the ukulele, as well. When I lived in the US, I was all about cars and motorcycles. I rarely ever bought one (maybe 3-5 total) and much preferred trading, as it was fun to see what kind of deals I could work. By the time I left the US, I believe I had owned close to 40 cars/trucks as well as a few motorcycles. I also am fascinated with anything mechanical in nature, or simplistic yet rugged. I love watches, old typewriters, brass knuckles, straight razors, etc. I actually have a collection of old straight razors from Germany and England that were made between 1880 and 1920. Then there is my love of alternative architecture (domes, underground structures, etc), planes, submarines and submersibles, etc. Actually, the more I type, the more stuff that comes to mind and the closer I get to rambling endlessly, so I will leave it at that.

The artist is "Green Lake". The above characters (dark colored) say "Green Lake" and are a signature. The red characters below also say "Green Lake" and are from a name stamp.
