Started with me last week. Ring finger, left hand. Taped it loosely to the middle finger to restrict movement and am using an anti-inflammatory gel, seems to be improving. Fingers crossed (figuratively).

Although the UK variant has arrived in the US, it hasn't really hit you yet.

I've been watching some youtube videos by Dr John Campbell ( Dr. John Campbell - YouTube ) he seems to tell it as it is (except in one where he mixes up Australia with all of Australia).

His latest one covers his fears for the US.

Nankeen Night Heron, K3 DA*300, Tamron-F 1.4 TC:

In around 400-500 visits to Braeside Park I had seen one of these perhaps 5 times and caught one on camera (lousy shots) perhaps 3 times, they seem to be very shy. On the second last day of 2020 as I was arriving at the park I met up with one of the other guys as he was leaving, he had a great big smile on his face as he told me he got a shot of a Night Heron in flight. In my wanderings I arrived at the place he got his shot and after ten minutes I realised that what I thought was yet another Darter chick sunning itself was in fact a Night Heron!

Anyway, turns out a pair are nesting nearby and I've gotten shots on six days so far this year! This is one from today:

That seems to be one of the wishy/washy unknowns but all the vaccines will probably reduce how infectious you are and will probably reduce the period of time you are infectious.

Anyone with a belief has, within themselves, the absolute knowledge that their belief is true. Therefore they 'know' that any proof against their belief 'must be wrong or faked'.

Careful, there have been many cases of airborne transmission, covid transmission restaurant air conditioning -china - Google Search

Not all truck drivers are young. The biggest problem with truck drivers is their sheer mobility, we have had a few cases of truck drivers taking the virus to towns which had no cases and causing tens of thousands to have to be tested.

No, the take away from this video is wear a mask! Stay at least 6 feet away from anyone wearing a mask (other than those you live with) and keep completely away from anyone not wearing a mask. Spend as little time with others as possible.

This page seems about right except the bit about viral shedding which is not well written: UConn Health's Dr. David Banach Explains the COVID-19 Vaccine - UConn Today

Mikey says:

But that's not quite true. Apart from the fact that the vaccines are only 95% effective (and that's still really good), vaccines don't stop you from being infected. They prepare the immune system to fight the infection (SARS-CoV-2) so that so that you either do not develop the disease (Covid-19) or only develop a mild case.

So where the UConn article says :

“For instance, people who get the vaccine might still potentially shed virus, potentially at a lower level. The vaccine will prevent them from actually becoming ill, but vaccinated individuals might still be able to have virus in their nose and their respiratory system."

I believe it is referring to people who are infected before or after receiving the vaccine, certainly not as a result of receiving the vaccine.

From what I hear, if you have a mild (little or no symptoms) case you do not develop long term immunity and should still have the vaccine.

Somebody had a hard night!

She was just asleep and her head slowly drooped until it was completely upside down.

We must forgive her though, she lost her chick a few days ago.

Looks fine for bicycles, but for little birds I would have liked a few points above and below the main area. Maybe shift 4 of the green from either end.

That's about the equivalent of the K50 with a DA*300 and a (good) 1.4/1.5 TC. The 55-300 PLM with a 1.4TC would be a close second if somebody can confirm that combination works on a K50 (it doesn't on earlier models but does on a KP).

Edit, I don't think the K50 will work with the 55-300 PLM with a 1.4TC.

If I've got it right, this should give you some idea what you can expect to see through a 300mm lens.
