In an effort to rearrange my kit, I'm selling the following items to fund the purchase of some Limiteds. Conditions, included items, and prices are listed below. Please read the descriptions carefully before deciding to purchase. I can send photos on demand.
Paypal fees and shipping (via USPS Priority Insured) are included within the USA for all listed prices. WW please ask.
The first person to make a firm offer/payment gets the lens. If you think the price is too high, feel free to make an offer, but don't be offended if I hold out for the asking price. Lowballing will not be tolerated--I believe I've priced my lenses fairly given their condition.
=================
Pentax DA 12-24mm f/4: This lens was purchased in October of last year and is in like-new condition. Clear glass front and rear, clean cosmetics, everything working as it should. Original caps, hood, box, papers, etc. Asking $650 -> $625. (
SOLD to GeneV)
Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8: This is the latest version of this lens, in as-new condition. Used only once in the field since I purchased it new in January of this year, and several times around the house. No sticky aperture problem in evidence. I've registered it with Tamron--if you buy it from me and the sticky aperture problem manifests itself, you can ship it to me and I'll ship it to Tamron for service (you pay all legs of any repair shipment). Glass is perfect front and rear. Sharp as a tack on my K-7. Includes original caps, hood, box, papers, etc. Asking $650 -> $625. (
SOLD to LightBug)
Pentax DA 55-300mm f/4-5.8: I am the second owner of this lens and it is my second copy of the lens. It's just as good as the first one, and I've only used it a few times since receiving it. It's in very good to excellent condition. The glass on both ends is perfect. The body has some cosmetic wear (basically rub marks on the plastic). The original caps, hood, box, pouch, papers, etc, are all included. Asking $280. (
SOLD to twokatmew)
Vivitar 28mm f/2.8 Close Focus (w/ "A" setting): This is the highly desirable "A03" version of the famed Vivitar 28mm f/2.8 Close Focus, made by Komine. You can read more about these singular lenses here and here. This lens is in excellent condition. The rear glass is perfect. There is one small cleaning mark on the front element that has no effect on image quality. Included are original front and generic rear caps. Asking $125. (
SOLD to jurysi)
Sigma 30mm f/1.4 EX DC: This lens is in excellent condition, with flawless glass front and back. It's always been exceptionally sharp wide open (at least in the center) on my K-7, as well as the K-x and K20D before it. Included are the original front and rear caps, hood, box, pouch, papers, etc. Asking $400 -> $390 -> $380. (
SOLD to jezza323)
Pentax FA 50mm f/1.7: Often said to be sharper than the more popular FA 50mm f/1.4. I found it to be an excellent all-around performer and a great choice for a fast fifty. In fact, I sold my 50/1.4 to get it! The lens has perfect glass front and rear, though there is one large-ish dust speck inside the rear elements that has no effect on image quality. The body cosmetics are very good, with one small scratch to the right of the distance scale window. Included are generic front and original rear caps. Asking $260 -> 250. (
SOLD to nicholas621)
Pentax DA 70mm f/2.4 Limited: Possibly my favorite DA Limited lens (it's a close race with the DA35), but the lure of the FA77 is too strong to resist. This lens is in perfect optical and very good cosmetic shape. There is some brassing on the serrated metal of the focusing ring, and a smaller amount on the "badge" ring (where the aperture ring would be). The hood and front cap have scuff marks from regular use. Included are the original front and rear caps, hood, box (cut up to remove the bar code but held together w/ tape), and lens pouch. Asking $425 -> $415 -> $400. (
SOLD to inte1)
Pentax-M 85mm f/2: Purchased this lens recently on the forum. It had just been CLA'd, but apparently in the CLA process the infinity focus got misadjusted. Sent it back to the seller and he had it serviced to correct the infinity focus. It now works perfectly. Pristine front and rear glass, minimal dust inside for a lens of its age. Included are generic front and original rear caps, a Hoya UV(0) filter, and the original snap-on hood. Asking $225 -> $210 -> $200. (
SOLD to Aristophanes)
Pentax-A 100mm f/2.8: This is the quite rare non-macro version of this lens. It's been a stellar performer for me, though I've used it sparingly. It was purchased on craigslist last year in virtually mint condition, and it's stayed that way. To give an idea of how mint it is, the JCII "Passed" sticker just fell off when I was pulling it out of its case to examine for this writeup. Pristine front and rear glass. Built-in hood works perfectly. Included are original front and rear caps and the original padded leather case. Asking $250. (
SOLD to zhuxyg)
Pentax SMC 135mm f/2.5: This is the much sought-after K-mount version of the late Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 135/2.5. You can see some of the stellar work our fellow forum members have been putting in with it here. This lens has perfect glass front and rear. The body has some cosmetic wear, mainly brassing on the aperture ring and a few small chips in the metal near the mount. Included are an original rear cap, push-on plastic front cap, and a generic 58mm screw-in metal tele hood. Asking $225. (
