Item Description
I bought this lens from member here to try and it turns out that 28mm is not wide enough for my style. I will go for some 24mm or the limited DA 21mm again(I so miss it since I sold it, ).

This Sigma is NOT the recent 28mm f1.8 version that are in the market, which has 77mm filter ring size.
It's the earlier version with 58mm filter ring diameter which is great for cheaper filter!

The lens is in great conditions. Glass is clean and clear, no scratches, haze, fungus. The cosmetic shows some sign of usage. I would rate it as a 8/10.

It will come with Hood, front cap and rear cap. (I'm not sure if the rear is genuine but the others are)
Thanks!

i kinda want to sell my F50 1.7 for this, because it seems this will probably get me the frame in a APS-C DSLR that the 50mm got on a Full Frame Film camera.

This lens is a lot more convenient than the newer version, that's for sure! Smaller and lighter.

Is this the macro version?
Can you list the exact make & model no of it please?
And if I see correctly it's 1:1.8 magnification.
Would you have any other close up/macro shots with it?

I have a Sigma 30mm f1.4 and might consider giving up the extra speed to have the 'close up' feature instead.

Cheers,
Pa.

I'm not sure if it's macro version. The minimum focus distance is about 20cm from the front element and I guess the magnification is about 1:2.9. (that could help?)
I think the Sigma 24mm f2.8 would be more suitable for macro which still is not 1:1 magnification.
