Not necessarily. A valuable lens may be worth a Leitax conversion -- that will be in the rough neighborhood of US$100. A not-so-valuable lens can be modified ('chopped') to fit a PK mount. NOTE: These options are only for manual-focus F-mount lenses, no AF.
If you have an inexpensive lens that you won't mind sacrificing, ie it loses its resale value, then a Dremel metal-cutting blade, properly applied, can let most Nikon lenses work on a Pentax camera, IF the lens weighs under 450g / 1lb or so.
