[SOLD] SMC Pentax-A Lenses: ( 135/2.8 ) ( 28/2.8 ) ( 50/1.4 ) ( 50/2.8 Macro ) ( 50/2

HELP! I need to make room in my wallet for a nice tele prime (I'm thinking F300/4.5...suggestions welcome), so I need to let go of a bunch of nice lenses!

It's really tough to let some of these babies go, but it will simplify my life to have fewer lenses, and since I have duplicates of these focal lengths in other lenses, I can deal.

Shipping to the US will be $5-$10, depending on location and lens choice. East coast is generally cheaper because that's where I am.

Paypal is the preferred method of payment.

SMC Pentax-A 50/1.4
$140 SOLD!!
SN 1043444
Needs no introduction. This copy is beautiful. No marks on the body, glass is crystal clear, no dust. Pristine one could call it. I've got an SMC Tak 50/1.4 and a K50/1.2 so this one needs a better home.
Will include a UV filter and front/rear caps.

SMC Pentax-A 50/2.8 Macro
$180 SOLD!!
SN 5342604
You'd be hard pressed to find a nicer copy of this lens. I've even got the original SN paperwork to go with it! I've used it a few times with great results, but it is now in the company of F50/2.8 Macro and doesn't get used enough.
Will include front/rear caps.

SMC Pentax-A 50/2
$30 SOLD!!
SN 1911008
Great lightweight prime. Still has solid construction. Unlike some other A50/2s that I have seen, this one has a metal aperture ring. I'm guessing it was in their early production runs. Great condition, maybe a tiny bit of dust, but nothing to worry about.
Will include a UV filter and front/rear caps.

SMC Pentax-A 135/2.8
$180 SOLD!!
SN 5021520
Tough letting this one go, such a nice fast compact lens. Makes a great tele f/2.8 on the digital crop. Sure it will give you a bit of CA/PF wide open under high constrast shots, but that A setting is nice. It's quite sharp too, I believe that people have given this lens a bad name that it doesn't truly deserve. This one just looks stellar on my K200D btw. Has some very minor paint loss on edges of the aperture ring. Other than that, it's very nice.
Will include front/rear caps.

SMC Pentax-A 28/2.8
$90 SOLD!!
SN 5119486
Great wide angle lens on film, nice true normal on digital. Excellent condition, with barely noticeable wear in a couple spots on the aperture ring. Glass is great, no problems at all with this one.
Will include a UV filter and front/rear caps.

Yes that's the one I'll have the most trouble letting go ... But I did recently get a F135/2.8... which has very similar IQ (some CA at highlights wide open), but has that nice super fast AF that everyone talks about. But still I am very drawn to that A135/2.8...it's just nice

PS I'm keeping my A24/2.8, A35/2.8, A35-70/4 (great 70mm 1:3 macro!), A35-105/3.5, and A70-210/4. Couldn't live without any A lenses

Just see this thread after I start a biding of A 50/1.7 on ebay.
From the OP's profile, I see you also own the f1.7 before. Since this will be my first prime lens, could you give me a comparison with this f2.0?

Thanks

No Kidding - and I'm trying to leave room in my wallet for a K20.

Please keep reminding me that I already have and K28/3.5, K135/2.5 and FA50/1.4.

My wife certainly just did .

ahhhh yes, the wife...sigh. can't remember if it was the 35-105 or the 70-210 that was the last straw for her. Oh well, at least now I have more storage space

the 70-210 is a ridiculously versatile lens. as much as I love my 55, the 70-210 sees far more use. its currently my only A lens, and that is making these look very tempting....
