I'm just not using this lens enough to justify it sitting on the shelf. I bought it new from BH on 12/16/08 so it still has some warranty left. I have all the boxes, case, caps ect that came with it.

Photos taken with this lens (mostly with the Kenko 1.5x TC attached). If you want more photos let me know.

This one is without the TC

Oh lowdy, I just returned my rented DA*300mm TODAY after 3 weeks of frantic snapping. I miss it already and seeing your spot is damned tempting. That 2nd shot with the Owl's mouth open is worth the price of admission alone. Beautiful! Please sell your lens before I decide that electricity and food are very over rated.

DA* 300mm is a lens with a hollow barrel (ie: no glass elements in the lens is smaller than the diameter of the lens) like the FA 50? If it is not only does it take great pictures, it looks amazing too!

I have the same lens and it is probably the last lens I would ever sell unless starving and homeless

If you are a nature/bird photographer this lens is hard to beat, and it works wonderfully with the Tamron 1.4x Pz-AF or the Kenko 1.5x converters with minimal loss in IQ, as you show so well here.
