bargain deal section

Hi,

how about under the marketplace a section where people can post known good deals (not I got xx lens for $4 off ebay) more teds cameras have the sigma 14mm for Au$400 they will/wont ship internationally etc.

I like the idea. Possibly with sub-forums for different countries/regions. Everyone likes a deal, so I think this idea would be popular.

I like the idea as well - some lenses here can be almost twice the price as in the US (the old supply and demand issue) With our 'loonie' getting closer to the USD buying online internationally makes good sense these days.

Funny, I have bought quite a lot of lenses out of canada from carmodys (trading as prodigital on ebay) as they were the cheapest I could find anywhere, but they don't show much on their homepage.

I will check it out , thanks ! (and proof poistive this is a good idea ...) - I find the Pentax Lenses are close to or at par (we will see with the new DA* , one local store was saying $1.2k here for the 16-50 !) but some of the Sigma's and Tamrons are almost double ....
