Gawan has asked me to be the host this coming week. Sorry about the delay in posting this as I had spent 14 hours straight in working til now.

Rules as before:

1) No theme just your favourite stuff.
2) Let's keep it to about 4-6 images per post just so the thread doesn't get too big each week .
3) Any Pentax camera is fine, film, P&S, DSLR (or Samsung DSLR)
4) Runs for 7 days May 12th to May 19th
5) Enter anything you shot last week or this current week until the thread closes.

A recent walkabout with the new toy DA*16-50 I think it is a keeper - I got 5 days left to prove it

It's a picture of a counter on an old gas pump. Hence my comment on gas prices.

Doooooooooooh must lern to reed ... yeah gas prices are skyrocketing for sure ... and you have it worse than we do. It is about $1.20 a litre here * 3.8 for US gallon conversion and about $4.56 a US gallon. The best part is I drive an 8 cylinder gas guzzeler that uses premium (add $0.10/L) , the good news is I don't drive much

That gas pump price is striking a bit of fear in everyone of us who drive.

I noted your photography having a touch of urban decay with the sentimental feel. Almost quite subtle. Glad to see your contribution.

Congradulation on this new zoom and you put it to good use.

This graffiti shot is an unusual one and I love it. The colour and the story on the wall extend one's imagination.

Yes I like the model sailboats also, cause it's not what you expect and it's there on the second look.
I went to our big carnival at the weekend and this is from the loose crowd at the end of the procession. This is a no pp jpg (gimp downscale) from a K100D with a Summicron 2/50 1st version, around wide open. I know a lot of you will find it too dark on their screens, but please just rev the brightness up :-)

Thanks. That's just the effect I was going for! Unfortunately, the sun & time weren't right to get good pictures from the front -- all those were more or less backlit -- but I was pretty happy with several of the shots I did manage to get.
