Hit me with your best shot, togs

Rules as before:
1) No theme just your favorite stuff.
2) Let's keep it to about 4-6 images per post just so the thread doesn't get too big each week .
3) Any Pentax camera is fine, film, P&S, DSLR (or Samsung DSLR)
4) Runs for 7 days <Sunday Date> to <Sunday Date>
5) Enter anything you shot last week or this current week until the thread closes.

I've only taken about a dozen shots in the last 2 weeks and they're all of Jay

oooOOOooo I do like the blue neon, Dave

Thanks Brit. You want her? She's very... ummmmmmm, puppyish

Garth, what are those coloured balls? They would look great in a frame all their own.

The glass tube is a thermometer.
Each of the coloured vials float at different heights varying with temperature.
The small gold discs have numbers stamped on them - eg 20, 21 etc
Saw these in a shop in Mandurah this aftenoon. The shop owner imports them from Germany

Kris the thermometers in Garths post are called Galileo Thermometers. They are very cool and fun... You can get them as tall as 1 ft or the biggest I have seen is about 4 ft.. The bigger the galileo the more temp options you .. check it out.. they truely are physics at work.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galileo_thermometer

ftpaddict - nice side view of the girl.. you caught her smile well..

Now that the K10D is off to Pentax for focus adjustments, I've been getting re acquainted with the *istD which still takes a great shot.

So a little taste of Prince Edward Island.
Plus a fox hunt that wasn't intentional but I came across this Fox pup coming out of his den. He took one look at me and took off. It would have been a winner if that blade of grass wasn't in the shot. But he didn't hang around to take a second shot.

And one from Cape Breton with a bit of the spring runoff still coming down the mountains

KrisK10D, I like the portrait of your dog. great expression, with excllent olour and sharpness.

Dave, cool signs but I like the second one with the Sherlock Holmes silouhette

Garth, seagulls are usually fairly ordinary but this has a nice film like quality and I really like the shot.

ftpaddict, What a wonderfully natural portraot. Very nice!

Good shots Kim. fruit and vegtables can be really tough to shoot and look 'normal' you pulled these off well.

Those last 2 cardinal shots are great dws1117. Nice shots.

Thanks Peter, I am glad you liked them, it was hard to get them just the way I wanted... Between the fruit pizza and the lemon.. I kind like this food photography.. LOL

I love you little fox Peter, he is very cute.. to bad that piece of grass is covering his eye in the first pic.. ... I also really like the first boat with the reflection.. Just beautiful...

rparmar = very creative.. I like the tree lights the best.. .

Wayne = nice shots.. #3 is my fav I think.. I wish we had cardinals around here..

My other interest.

My other interest is gardening, with a focus on Bromeliads, among others,
Some shots I took this morning of the Broms which are just flowering at the moment. No3 not so good.
Just love this Vivitar 105m Macro lens.
