Picture of the Week Year two 03/08/09 - 03/22/09
Welcome to POTW #53

The first week of POTW, year two was great. Nice to see a bunch of new participants showing off their stuff. It's always interesting to see what styles everyone brings to the thread. So lets build on that and post lots of stuff here from last week and the coming week.

Rules as before:

1) No theme just your favorite stuff.
2) Let's keep it to about 4-6 images per post just so the thread doesn't get too big each week .
3) Any Pentax camera is fine, film, P&S, DSLR (or Samsung DSLR)

Just a couple ordinary shots from yesterday am, it was hind of cloudy at sunrise. What do you call a canadian goose in canada? just goose?

and maybe the last with my smc 500mm 4.5. I sold it because my eyes are not so good for MF anymore and if I sell the motorcycle too I may get the sigma 500mm (no calls on the bike though) the lens had really nice bokeh imo.

Peter, very nice landscapes. Despite the actual coldness, the first photo gives off a nice warmth with the colors.
Jezza, nice viewpoints of the coast.
Tom, great bird shots. No eagle today?

Well, it's still beautifull! And I duplicate photos all the time !
I never manage to get good snow pictures. But then: we almost never manage to get good snow....

Peter, awesome sunset, seems like the weekend was good elsewhere for sunsets.

Jezza, nice captures, beautiful scenery.

Tom, you're strictly for the birds.

Toshi, nice to see you out and about, I like the duck coming in to land shot.

Georg, yes, I think spring is in the air.

P O, It's important to focus on the important things.

Dadi, beautiful image and conversion.

Rense, I like how the background works in the first one.

Saturday night had a beautiful sunset. Gus even PM'd me because he was driving home and didn't have his camera.

Peter - back to back hosting thanks. I have not fired off to many shots since I got back still busy processing and the weather has been anything but nice. Hope to get out before the weeks out. Man I wish spring would get here !

I love the sunset. #2 has a very nice contrast between the red clay and that white frozen stuff.


jezza323 - wonderful scenery - wish I was there.

Tom - we call them dinner - Canadian Goose , Goose , Geese yep depends on the Canadian I guess. Nice series of birds.

Toshi - I really like the blurred moton of #1 and the last one is so cute.

Georg - enjoying your rocks snow and tree shots. Hopefully the snow will be gone soon.

PinnarelloOnly - Nice handel and welcome to POTW ! Not a fan of the drink but I am of the shot, wel done.

dadipentax - Nice backkground and isolation on the flower. Good PP as well.

Rense - I remeeber seeing these shots - the reds are so vibrant.

Gary - nicely done wow three very different view - really like the last one. Nice to see you putting the K20D to good use.
