hi from paris!

Hello folks,
Enough lurking! Bought innocently my K-m last summer, and discovered since then the paradisiac landscape of fantastic old lenses that are available... Thus I'm quite new to DSLR, however I have been quite busy with photography during the golden age of Kodachrome, Ilford & the others, mainly with Minolta but also with some medium format gear (Rolleiflex).
My learning curve won't be very original, I discovered this forum quite early, and found all the crazy and marvelous photographers here, and their expertise and sense of help and community. This way I also learned to know the different lens families and rapidly been subject to LBA... Started softly with a couple A's but found myself magnetically attracted to M's and now K's... Marvelous!
But the most important: Thank you guys for all the work performed on this site, all the fantastic expertise united here and the friendly atmosphere!

It's friendly here, but we still love to argue:

I think it has something to do with all of the stress from the global economic meltdown.
