Spiraling Trumpets

Another odd shape- something I should have noticed before, but just never did. Somehow it escaped me that these flowers grow out in a spiral pattern, tossing out one trumpet-like golden bud at a time.
Reminds me of an underwater garden of Sea Horses to look at them all lined up. So delicate and intricate!
