I do a pet rescue calendar every year in Vancouver in conjunction with Tisol Pet foods and the Northwest Wildlife Preservation Society. It is my own baby - my concept, my photography, text, graphic design, everything; all of the proceeds go to help the pet rescue groups depicted. Here is the cover shot from the 2005 calendar, from the Greyhaven Exotic Bird Sanctuary in Vancouver. Shot on my trusty old *ist D on a Gitzo 80th anniversary tripod, with an F*300 f4.5 lens, Pentax SMC 'Cloudy' filter, Metz 40 MZiii flash with softbox, mirror lockup at about f8. Processed in Adobe Photoshop CS 1.
