Title test shot with close-up adapter
Description This is an adapter for the Ricoh FF-90 cameras and has a fold out diffuser that
covers the flash. Still got flash burn so need more diffusion. Using Arista 400
color film custom set incamera to 320 (had to cover the bar code and checkerboard
border with electricians tape to fool the camera). These Ricoh point and shoots
are equipped with an excellent lens.

BW conversion using the Virtual Photographer plugin for PS, "Classic" selected.

test shot with close-up adapter

The strobe created unattractive (unnatural) highlights in eyes.

Not sharp enough.

It's good to photograph as tightly as you did. Is that you or somebody else? Either way, good for you.

Janosh, thanks for your comments. Admittedly, the flash wasn't diffused enough
for being so close-in to the subject and sharpness was degraded by using the Virtual
Photographer plugin. This is a friend at the store where I have a shop in the back.
I hope to do more people shots, something I haven't done much of at all. Thanks again.
