Panoramic view of Colorado's Sand Hills (180degree)
| Description |
Taken on a work trip to Denver a couple of years ago. The location is in far northeastern Colorado, about 1/2 mile off of Interstate 76, at a place called Red Lion Road... The view is a 180-degree span looking to the south. The amazing thing about this spot is the near-total lack of human intrusion on the landscape, aside from the road. You'd never guess that a busy interstate freeway lies just over the hill (to the right side of image).
The image is composed of 8 or 9 shots from my K100D, 18-55 kit lens (Mk 1), mounted on Manfrotto 190Xpro tripod with 488RC2 head. Stitching was done in PS Elements 6. This particular image file is downloaded from my Deviantart account at http://roxndox.deviantart.com/art/Colorado-Sand-Hills-Pano-180-S-118460121.
