Plant Bowen
| Description |
Plant Bowen, the largest coal fired plant in the United States, in the early morning surrounded by its neighboring farms. The power station is located about an hour north of Atlanta, GA.
Before recent modifications, Plant Bowen was the largest emitter of sulfur dioxide in the United States, and ranks third in carbon dioxide production. Despite this, the toxic behemoth has farms adjoining its property due to proximity to the river and cheap land.
