Eager Bumble gets the first taste
| Description |
We planted a few new plants today, among them this nice flower, but it wasn't even out of thr bag before this bumble bee found it, and had a real field day. No matter what happened she (all worker bees and bumble bees are female) hanged on for dear life, and obviously enjoyed it a lot! She spent at least a minute per sub-flower (if that is the term), and didn't mind the plant being lifted out of the bag, set into a new surrounding, and then being watered. She defintely loved this plant: Normally she visits a lobelia for less than five seconds - here she stayed more than a minute per tiny sub-flower, say over ten minutes for the entire flower, and then she was soon was back for more!
Taken with my DA21, that I bought a few days ago! Superb :-)!
