Avellinos
| Description |
This picture of the homeless 'Danny' in his favorite haunt, Avellinos Coffee House in downtown Bellingham pleases me for several reasons. So many pictures of homeless people deal in dull monotones and drab surroundings. I also like the juxtaposition of the aspirational background with it's 'exciting' explosion of light and how blandly corporate that appears when compared with the truth of American life today as the mentally impaired and homeless are forced to fend for themselves and try to keep warm in the local businesses which will allow them access.
I love my new K5 and its ability to shoot at 3200iso and still produce a usable image.
