Scott, Thanks for sharing an exceptional image. You were there at just the right time and managed to capture a shot that anyone should be glad to call their own. Did you use HDR to get the wide exposure range on this one? If you can remember, what did you do in post-processing? Very nicely done!

Thanks for the comment! This is one of my favorite shots for sure and was a beautiful evening in the Sierra Nevada. Yes, this is a high dynamic range photograph. I did the shoot at ISO 100, f/8.0 and obviously the shutter time's vary to keep the ISO and Aperture the same. I shot +2, 0 and -2 exposure values. As far as the post processing...I really try to limit post processing as much as possible. I use Photomatix Pro to create the HDR and then I use Lightroom 4 to add clarity, a bit of contrast and sharpness. I did have a little chromatic aberration issues, but Lightroom 4 does wonders for CA. Hope that helps!
