Title Persephone's Woe
Description I set up this shot , trying to learn how to do a stilllife with my new K10D last week--I tried a whole bunch of different aps, speeds and settings, and finally came up with this. Anyone have any idas/comments? I'm new to the forum--I like so much of what I've seen! Cindy

Persephone's Woe

Looks good - but from this size pic it seems a bit blurry. Did you shoot this on a tripod? Also I think you want to adjust the composition of this a bit - everything is stacked towards the center of the picture. I've been playing with some still life in my house as well - I'll post one to show you to get your comments in return! Keep up the experimentation!

This has a very nice mood to it. Sharpness a bit soft, but that's not too bad for what it transports for me personally.

Regarding the composition, I feel an urge to pan to the left a little. I think bringing all of the contents more to the right would give the image more balance.
