Skyline of San Francisco's Financial District as seen from Pier 14 during evening nautical twilight. This was shot during a recent night photo workshop I hosted. We were shooting the many interesting subjects along the waterfront, including the ferry building tower and Sinbad's sign. I was thrilled to spy this view from the end of the pier looking back on the city.
To the far right, one can see the Embarcadero Towers and the tip of the Transamerica building poking up from behind. To the left, more great skscrapers including some elegant condos. Just out of frame to the left is the West anchorage of the Bay Bridge.
Fine shot, Mike, I'm glad I helped vote it in. I of course know of you through Flickr and enjoy your images. I had the great pleasure of living in SF many years ago, and took some courses at the then Academy of Art College. Happy days.
