Relics from 1936 Germany
| Description |
Pictured are a German P.08 Luger pistol made by Mauser in 1936, together with a spare magazine and a holster, also dated 1936. These were brought back to the U.S. by a returning WWII veteran. Such complete matching sets are now quite rare and valuable. As more and more of our WWII veterans are now leaving us, some of their mementos and war souvenirs are now surfacing. I thought I'd record this set in some detail for those who haven't seen some of these interesting artifacts.
