Gingko trees are nearly ready
| Description |
Gingko trees are nearly ready. In a week or two they will all be perfect, just in time for the December Single challenge!
In one of the Universities I work at, their Gingko tree groves are considered to be the second best place in the city to photograph them. So much so that this Uni is frequently used by brides as a spot to get wonderful shots of them in their wedding dresses. So, in an inspired bit of managerial buffoonery, the Uni has installed decking that covers the entire floor of the best and biggest grove. In stripped and varnished pine of almost exactly the same colour and tonality as fallen gingko leaves... So instead of a carpet of golden leaves we will have pine boarding with indistinguishable leaves on top. It will probably be even worse because they will probably sweep the decking every 2 hours. I could cry.
