Description |
South-Afrika is most known for the Big 5: Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino, Lion and Leopard. But there is so much more, the country has also an abundant amount of birdspecies. This is a Southern Masked Weaver, a very funny and intrepid small bird and only eat insect when raising offspring. It was early in the breeding season, so I guess could not make up his mind and let the moment pass.
BTW: This was shot with the sigma 100-300 F4 with sigma 1.4x APO EX teleconverter. Handheld @ 420mm, F5.6, 1/320 and ISO400.
