Little poppy by the road
| Description |
I enjoyed the sunset and wanted to capture not only the warm feel of that trip, the gently floating cotton, the winding cycle road and cool, dark forest surrounding the barley(?) fields, but also that little red poppy, finding its way out of the field towards the sun. Its always good to have something red in the photo, no? It adds a little something to the overall scene, even though the scene is not such an unfamiliar landscape.
The photo has some warm colours, big contrasts, but no important detail is lost. I wanted the photo to have a bit of a hazy feeling to it, rather than f64 style hyper sharpness. The subject of the photo is nothing and everything. I don't think photos need a simple, obvious subject, centered around one of the third lines nexus points. In the modern day life tempo people often don't have or take the time, I realize this, but I that doesn't mean I will conform. https://www.pentaxforums.com/gallery/images/smilies/smile.png Hope you can enjoy the photograph.
Resized the photo down so it fits under the size requirements.
