This Is What a Junk Lens Can Do
| Description |
Among the four Pentax lenses I got for Cdn $80 were a gem (SMC Pentax M 28mm f/3.5) and a supposed junk (Pentax A 28-80mm f/3.5-4.5). The reviews for the latter were for the most part unfavourable, including a comment from someone, who said he would not take it even if he was offered money. So I had this non-SMC zoom in my to-give-away box. But then I decided to give it a try. Wow! Its accurate colour rendition and painterly bokeh just blew me away!
