I've made some modifications on my photo taken in consideration the suggestions made by the judges.

I am shooting bats quite regularly. This July I was told about a new (for me) place, where lots of my flying friends were hiding during the day. Bats are nocturnal animals, flying fast so it takes some time (lots of...), patience and practice to photograph them.
Basic technical description: camera on tripod, prefocused (manual focus) to the spot where the bats will fly out from their shelter.
In order to get a decent sharp photo of the bat, you need lots of DOF, so lens has to be stopped down - thus there is a need for lot of light, in this case 3 flashes. The camera is remotely triggered and kept shooting in continuous mode, with a slow shutter speed (for this photo 4s - shooting in totally dark). The photo is taken when the bat flies in the "good place" - triggering the flashes via a (home made) IR motion sensor. To have a few keepers there are lots of factors (both technically and the bats as well), so better don't ask me how many frames are shot during one session...
