A whale of a time.

Here is a photo of a species of whale known as: "California Grays." Their journey is quite a long one, beginning from Alaska and travelling as far South as Baja California. Typically we would have taken a boat out to meet these great fish, but not on this day.
I think the seagulls add a nice touch. This was taken from the Oregon Coastal town of Lincoln City. An extremely bright day with a little too much harsh sunlight. I had to break out my Hoya HMC CPL in order to tone down the harsh reflections.
