beautiful

Thank you - my first comment on a picture I have put on the website. The light looks so good because the Forestry Commission, who look after the woodland, had recently cleared a large area just beyond these trees. Without this the background would be darker and the shadows softer - it was really just luck to be in the right place at the right time, and my wife's patience as I spent time walking around to get the shot I wanted. I have had this printed to A3 for a calendar for my own use - it works well at this size.


I have looked at you wonderful shots taken on Arran Arran - my wife and I were there over 20 years ago.
Somewhere I must have some Kodachrome slides...
