St Marks at dawn

Visitors to Venice have to get up very early to find St Marks in Venice empty - in this case about 6 am on a damp morning in October. Even then I only had 2 or 3 minutes before people walked into the shot. I had the K10 on a tripod and the 18-250 at its widest setting, but the contrast around the columns caused the dreaded green/magenta colour fringes which I managed to reduce in PE before having a print done. I also tried to correct the lens distortion which the columns showed perfectly.
Again, this is an image for which I do not have a RAW file, so the adjustments available are limited before the JPEG image begins to degrade.
