Stewart's Photo, 4th Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska
| Description |
Stewart's Photo, the last real camera store in Anchorage, and as far as I know, in the state. The shop has been in this location since they opened, as far as I know. The first time I set foot in this store was around 1979, shortly after I got my first camera, my ME Super (long gone). I'm sure my brother frequented this same store when he was taking photos in high school, in the early 60's. Behind a curtain, over to the side, you can find actual roll film, and an assortment of B/W paper. There are some interesting photos on their web page, stewartsphoto.com
