One thing that always interests us a photographers is the range of subject matter and the beauty of the pictures generally shared. I'm a week late, but for "World Day" we tend to forget that one of the most important aspects of photography is sometimes just it's value as a tool of documentation. Sorry. I couldn't join you an a safari, or a wilderness trek for a beautiful waterfall, but instead I was helping with volunteer work at a summer camp in MI for those individuals with special needs. On this particular day, I didn't contribute much to the artistic community but hopefully added special value to someone's life with whom I would not generally meet on a daily basis.
