Recipe: - Climb 2000 ft / 700 m on a rough trail carrying camera, tripod, water and lunch because it is 2 hours up and two and a half hours down - or a few minutes if you hurry too much
- Set up camera on Manfrotto 055B with 0168 head
- set DA 12-24 to 12mm, f/8 for depth of field and focus at 1.2 m for hyper focal distance as indicated by TrueDoF-Pro app on iPhone.
- Attach cable release and set 2 sec delay.
- Wait for optimum arrangement of light and cloud shadows.
- Take several shots.
- Develop in LightRoom 2 (or 3?) (2010) with little or no fiddling.
- Send to PosterJack.com for 20x30 metallic print.
- Receive print.
- Rejoice! it worked!
