South Bend, Indiana, USA
| Description |
Early last century, this was the Palace Theater, a traditional live theater where performers such as Fanny Brice would perform as they rode the train between New York and Chicago. In more recent years, a local banking family paid to rehab it, while the city redirected the "main drag" around this street and built this nifty plaza in front of the theater. Not many people making use of the plaza today - temperatures near 90F certainly don't encourage us to be out if we don't need to be.
