I have used this lens on Canon 100D and Sony NEX5N. A good tripod is a must. I use it to photograph the sun, the moon and birds. I just take pictures, donīt worry too much about the technical qualities of the lens. For the sun, moon (focusing at infinity) you need a mirrorless camera.
