Autumn colour at the Old Quarry Trail - Ottawa

This is the Old Quarry Trail, an urban hiking trail that is a 15-minute walk from my house.
Like other locations in the northern hemisphere, our summer has gone and we're halfway through the autumn. Here in Ottawa, leaves are beginning to drop off the trees, and we're starting to think about the next season to come.
The dark clouds provide a contrast to the colourful trees and reeds in the marsh. I selected a relatively slow shutter speed to give the reeds some blur on this windy afternoon.
