Description Here is a pic I took of a red shouldered hawk while I was looking for eagles at keystone lake in oklahoma. This beauth landed about 15 ft off the road and sat still while I took alot of frames from my vehicle and even let me get out and set up the tripod. What an agreeable fellow

The hawk is parallel to your camera and it is looking side way that helps with the whole focus plane

I am quite interested in this lens sigma 500 f4.5 as well
