Old Perry Creek Waterwheel

This waterwheel powered an old gold mining site up Perry Creek and then sat abandoned for decades. It's original site was much more scenic, although not near a major highway as the current location is. It was moved to Ft. Steele BC about 30 years ago, although it had nothing to do with Ft. Steele aka Galbraith's Ferry. My wife and I were married about 300 meters from this spot a few years ago in the old NCO's Mess.
