Well, durn it, I like it!
I was struggling, by this time, to find something to shoot. There were two birdys that succeeded in keeping a bunch of branches between us, I got a couple of so so shots of them that I promptly deleted on first viewing. There's not that much color around here, anyway, and what does show up isn't really here yet. But Spike and I had a nice walk in the woods and it sure beats the heck out of working!
I'm finding myself shooting a lot of these kinds of shots with the DA* 300/4, though. Next I'm going to put extension tubes on it and see how this baby works as a 300mm Macro:-).
