Petra Jordan
This "monestry" is one of the highlights of Petra, Jordan.
You will need to pass all the way through the gorge, the valley and climb a road for about an hour or so to get to the point where this picture was taken.
But it is worth climbing.
The stone facades at Petra originally were used as tombs for kings of the Nabatean people. Later they were used for various purposes, depending upon the ruling power and their religion. Some were used as churches as well.
After the many stone facades in Petra, there is useally no more than 1 square, cubic like room.
