Ljubljana in shadows, Alps in setting sun
| Description |
The Julian Alps in the north of Slovenia can be seen from its capital city, Ljubljana. I caught this photo from a nearby castle on top of a hill, which allowed me to use the DFA 100mm tele lens for a landscape photograph of the mountains. I visited that location many times just before sunset and waited for the sun to descend. The sunsets were very unpredictable, sometimes they would be more golden, other times pink turning to deep purple.
