Here's the courtyard again from the SMC "K" 50/1.2 shot at f/1.2 or f/1.5. This shot has it's own merits, but again, the background is quite different from the FA28 Soft at around f/4.5. Although, like the FA31 shot, it's a slightly different angle, the distances to the focal point and the background are roughly equivalent. What you see here is still similar to what I saw in Live View from the exact same spot as the FA28 Soft lens - I just didn't have enough memory card space left.
